Our Mission
We’re here to serve our people.
PCTV’s mission is to enhance the quality of life of the residents of Pleasantville and build a sense of cohesiveness and community by providing increased avenues of communication; access to educational content; information on local government, cultural events, and activities; and an opportunity for self-expression inclusive of all. PCTV’s vision is to provide equitable access to a community voice that can be heard and seen.
PCTV accomplishes its mission by involving the community in the programming and operation of the station. With our advanced studio facility physically located in the Village of Pleasantville, and with program-originating capabilities in various places throughout the Village and the ability to air live simultaneously on television, online, and on social media, PCTV ensures inclusive and open access in providing education, arts, and valuable information to all its residents.
PCTV reaches more than 55,000 households in the Westchester towns of Thornwood, Valhalla, portions of New Castle, Mt. Kisco, Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, Ossining and Briarcliff Manor. PCTV has archived original content since 2009 from more than 30 producers covering politics and governance, literature and the arts, health and wellness, real estate, food and wine, music, astrology, environmental issues and more. PCTV provides programming over the public access community dedicated cable channel and online at PCTV76.org and through their Facebook page.
