Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber’s guiding philosophy is that a thriving business grows from engagement with the surrounding civic, cultural, educational and recreational community. To this end, the Chamber sponsors events and programs that link business members with the Pleasantville community. Our goal is to link business and community through:
- Supporting a vibrant business community through the Holiday Open House, the annual PCTV holiday video featuring member interviews and other promotional events Marketing opportunities such as advertising and promotion
- The Shop, Dine, Explore and Enjoy Pleasantville! brochure that lists members by Business category and features a map of the Downtown and the Old Village business areas, highlighting metered and permit parking, as well as Village sites;
- The colorful Shop Dine Explore Pleasantville! banners, featuring the names of participating members, that are displayed on utility poles Downtown and in the Old Village
- co-publishing the "Where Is It?" brochure Bringing to public attention the accomplishments of our members through the Business Person of the Year Award, Chamber Appreciation Awards, PCTV programming and the Chamber Website
- Providing information on local issues such as on-going Village streetscape projects, parking zoning and other "business-interest" issues
- Maintaining active engagement with local Village government and community leaders.
