Patrons who are unable to get to the Library can now have material delivered to their home.

Eligibility: This service is free to residents of the Town of Mount Pleasant and the Village of Pleasantville who are unable to visit the library in person due to a temporary or permanent disability or difficulty moving around. This service is not limited by age.

Resources: Books, audiobooks (on tape or CD), videos, DVDs, and music CDs in the Mount Pleasant Library collection. Three items will be delivered per month.

How does the service work?

Let us know what types of material you would like. For example: hardcover, softcover, or large print; audiobooks; music; or movies.

  • About once per month, we will select three items based on your preferences and needs
  • Items will be delivered to you by mail or in person
  • Items delivered by mail will come with a prepaid mailer and instructions on how to return the materials to the library
