Minutes of the Meeting of February 13, 2019

Trustees & Liaisons absent:
Marcie Krauss, Larry Levine, Jorge Marmol, Laurie Smalley (Town Liaison)
Administrative: Trustee Muccin called the meeting to order at 7:03 PM.
The minutes of the January 17, 2019 Board meeting were approved. Moved by Trustee Malina, seconded by Trustee Edwards, and passed.
There were no comments from the public.
February Claims of Payment:
After discussion, it was moved by Trustee Huerster and seconded by Trustee Malina: It is hereby resolved that the Town Comptroller be authorized to:
>> Pay all vouchers reviewed and approved by the Director and the Comptroller, for the month of February 2019, for a total of $24,894.52
>> Pay Recorded Books $7,644.69 for E-magazines & Zinio multi access 1 year subscription
>> Pay J.T. Moran $481.25 for Plant health care inspection
>> Pay White Plains Cleaning Services $415.80 for General cleaning (1/6 & 1/20) Main Library
>> Pay Capira Technologies LLC $895.00 for Museum Key renewal 1 year subscription
>> Pay E-Cubed Consulting LLC $450.00 for monthly service agreement (Feb. 2019)
>> Pay North State Mechanical Corp. $1,900.00 for Replacement of heat pump on boilers
>> Pay Staples $62.19 for Supplies
>> Pay Facility Solutions Group $79.20 for Fluorescent bulbs for main library
>> Pay Musical Munchkins $300.00 for 1 Children's program (T/A Account)
201901-01 The motion passed
>> There is a first draft of an Intermunicipal Agreement, which will be subject to further discussion and clarifications.
>> We will be resuming our Strategic Planning process for 2019-2021
After discussion, it was moved by Trustee Quinn, and seconded by Trustee Huerster:
It is hereby resolved that Director Fearon be authorized to sign the following contracts:
>> With ThyssenKrupp, for book elevator maintenance, for an annual fee of $1,800
>> With Nalco Water (Cascade Water Services), for New York State Mandate Protocol Cooling Tower compliance services, for the fees detailed in the proposal dated January 22, 2019

After discussion, it was moved by Trustee Edwards, and seconded by Trustee Riina:
It is hereby resolved that the Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson be authorized to use Library facilities for a training session on Saturday, May 11

After discussion, it was moved by Trustee Malina, and seconded by Trustee Huerster:
It is hereby resolved that Chair Muccin be authorized to sign the 2018 IRS 990 tax return for the Library’s Trust & Agency accounts

New Business: Trustee Edwards proposed creating an on-boarding checklist for new trustees.
Trustee Huerster moved for adjournment at 8:11 pm, seconded by Trustee Malina.
