Curbside Lending Service

Note: Beginning June 28 browsing hours will be increasing at the Main Library resulting in limited Curbside hours. We will still be offering Curbside Mon-Sat from 9-10am, however we will not be able to provide on demand service. You may call and schedule a next day pick up for 9-10am.

Our Curbside Service allows you to easily and safely borrow materials (books, DVDs, audiobooks etc.) from either of our libraries. There are a number of ways you can use this service:

When your materials are ready for pickup you will be notified (via email, text or phone). You can then call us to schedule a convenient pick-up time or you can drop by the Library and let us know when you are here.

The service is available at the Main Library from Monday through Saturday: for more detailed information please click here,  for hours of service please click here.

The Library's Response to the Pandemic

The Library’s goal during the Pandemic is to offer services to the public in a responsible, safe and sustainable manner. In practice this means evaluating external circumstances and adjusting our services in relation to those circumstances. The Library will make all possible efforts to ensure continuous service during the Pandemic and will, whenever possible, look to introduce innovative and nontraditional services to make up for traditional services that are not possible. At all times, the health and safety of staff and patrons will be of the utmost importance.

The Library has developed a Building Reopening Plan that forms the basis for our planning. The Library's senior employees make recommendations to the Board of Trustees: the Board meets each month to review these recommendations and make decisions about services. These meetings are open to the public (they are currently being held via Zoom): agendas, with login details, are posted on the website each month. In addition, after each meeting the Library Director posts an update on the website and the official minutes of Board Meetings are also available through the website.
