The book, Broken Things, by Lauren Oliver is deserving of reading. This book is filled with different emotions and has a great, interesting plot. This book is full of twists that make the reader want to keep on reading. It has been five years since Summer was murdered. The book focuses on the lives of Brynn and Mia who are Summer’s ex-best friends.

The book, The Eleventh Plague, elicits all types of emotions. Parts of the story are upsetting and depressing, but other moments are sweet and lovable. The author explores that sometimes listening to your heart is the best option. In the story, Stephen Quinn, a fifteen-year-old boy, is a scavenger who travels around with his dad in the search of food, water, and things that are valuable enough to trade.

How would you feel if you woke up in complete darkness, confined in an enclosed coffin? Scared right? Well that's how Em, the protagonist of Alive by Scott Sigler, felt when she woke up in her coffin. Eventually, she ends up breaking out and breaks out a few more people from their coffins as well. None of them remember anything, even their names, and end up embarking out of their room of confinement. They begin to wander the hallways and begin to encounter many lurid sites, such as dead bodies and corpses.
