Science Heroes: Adventures of the Lost Treasure

Join Science Heroes on a treasure-hunting adventure deep within the jungle! Along the way, the audience helps the performer conduct exciting science experiments that bring this story to life! From Words to Wonder: Public Speaking for Kids

Grades 3–5

During this program, kids from grades 3-5 will begin their public speaking journey. While public speaking is uncomfortable for most, it is something that you will use for the rest of your life! To add a fun perspective, we do some fun group activities and also watch a Charlie Brown video that teaches us public speaking at the same time! All ages

Stop by the Main or Branch Library and pick up a tree themed I Spy to take home! Take it on a nature walk and see how many you can find! Then try the extra activity on the back!

Traveling Lantern: The Quest for the Kakapo!

Grades PreK–6

Join the Caterpillar Hunter on another exciting adventure as he travels around the world to rescue a rare endangered parrot, known as the Kakapo, from New Zealand. His globe trotting quest teaches him (and the audience) about the many efforts underway to preserve precious habitats and protect the endangered species that live in them. Click here to register

Exploring Prehistoric Mysteries of the Sea

Interested in marine life or fossils? Explore what animal life looked like before humans, before dinosaurs, and even before life moved to land! During this program, you will learn about the weird and wonderful creatures of the Cambrian period through real fossil specimens and crafts that bring the Cambrian to life!
