Adult Mount Pleasant Library cardholders in good standing may check out one Chromebook, one hotspot, or one bundle (Chromebook and hotspot together) at a time. Reservations for devices may be made up to six weeks in advance. Patrons may have only one check out out or one reservation at a time.
- Chromebooks – a laptop that runs on the Google Chrome operating system. Provides access to the Internet and to the Google suite of online applications. A Google account is needed to make full use of the Chromebook, but it can be used with a Guest account. Patrons may create a free Google account at any time.
- T10 Mobile Hotspots (T-Mobile 4G service) – Provides Internet access in the T-Mobile coverage area and connects up to ten (10) devices.
- Borrow for four (4) weeks.
- Standard: Borrow for four (4) weeks.
- Express: Borrow for two (2) weeks
- Borrow a Chromebook and Hotspot together for four (4) weeks.

Borrowed devices must be returned to the Reference Desk and handed to a staff member. Never return a device in the book drop. There is a $10 per day charge for late returns. Service may be turned off for devices that are overdue.
Patron may be responsible for the entire cost of the Franklin T10 Mobile Hotspot and/or Chromebook if it is not returned.
